Okay CD's.........lets finalize these dates.
I need to move Vegas earlier due to my scheduled departure in the near future. (I'm looking at Feb 23-24 but am waiting for Bakersfield and Cactus to finalze first). Cactus has made mention of moving later Bakersfield has made mention of 2 contests this year. Here is the tentative............Hopefully we can get this set in stone soon. http://www.mini-iac.com/EditModule.a...iew&ItemId=322

Thanks RT. I had not checked the pattern schedule yet, but rest assured I always deconflict the Vegas IMAC with as many contest/fly-ins as I can in our SW Region.
So Here are what we have now...... Vegas--- Feb 16-17 (confirmed) Bakersfield--Mar 15-16 (tentative) Cactus--Mar 29-30 (tentative)

Guys
I have already set up a schedule on the IMAC site if you want to change your dates let me know. At this point nothing is confirmed unless I here from the CD. If this is going to work we have to work together on this. Thanks for your understanding. Great idea to get things finalized early. It will really help for those of us who have to coordinate work schedules because of working either Saturdays or Sundays.

Wow! It looks like the first IMAC of 08 is going to be in San Diego, Feb 2-3. I'll be there!

That's right, the first event in '08 is going to be in San Diego. I will have my Sportsman debut at my home field. I expect all of you guys to make it. It will probably be a little on the cool side for an outdoor BBQ. What do you guys suggest for a Saturday night party?

OK by me, but my house is a 1/2 hours drive from the field. Maybe something at my wife's horse ranch which is about 1/4 mile away. But that would still have to be outside, unless we can all fit in the TEEPEE. |

Funny you should say that. I was at the field today and a big brush fire started right across the street. I packed up my plane and rushed over to the ranch in case the horses needed to be moved. I was not looking forward to trying to save 60+ horses from a fire. My plan was to get them all down to the beach about 3 miles away. Luckily a helicopter came and dropped a few buckets on the fire and killed it quick. In San Diego we're really scared of fires right now. |
