I feel I am having an affair...Boy was it good.
Do I feel guitly for doing it? HUCK NO!!!!
Today i cheated on my RC's when i soloed my PPC!!! (powered parachute) Who ever said the grass is no greener on the other side has never been there! LOL! Sitting there on the end of the runway, 3-4 mph wind in the face, cart bouncing a little from low throttle setting, I got the thumbs up from my instructer on the ground talking me thru the flight. I nailed the throttle to inflate the chute. As it rose over head I backed off the throttle to check my lines and chute. "Everything A-OK!!" I heard over the radio. The rest is a dream. I remember waking a few times as my RC background feel allowed me to grease in 8 touch and go's!!!! Guys it was like driving a wheelbarrow!!! If you ever want the true feel of freedom, in the air is the only way to do it!! I must go now, for I have to calm the emotions of my 35% and 40%'ers. It will be tough but I am sure we all can live together!! Out, Pro1, PPC and Giant Scale RC Pilot

those ppc's are awsome camera platforms, doesnt get more more stable! or simple haha get some pics!

My flying buddy in NC also got hooked on those. Prolly the one of the nicest honest guys out there. One day he just stopped flying RC and I heard he had gotten really into flying the PPC's. Life is short so its cool if you find something more enjoyable than R/C.
For me RC is just another cool hobby to help pass the time. |
