Default Hangar 9 35% Extra 260 Maiden

I maidened my, or should I say I had another experienced pilot maiden my Extra today. She flew great!!!! I only got two flights in but very happy with the performance of the plane. The DA-100 ran very smooth and I could not believe the power the thing had. Uplines seemed like they would never stop. Just a nice plane to fly. Hopefully I will get a few more chances to get her up before the weather changes here in Chicago. Thanks to Brian Johnson for doing the maiden for me and giving me some words of advice during the flight. I can't say how much I appreciate all the help from all who did.

I maidened my Extra yesterday and I must say that after flying Yaks for 2 years I was very surprised and happy with the Extra, with a 3W-110 on cans the Extra was a delight to fly, very stable and flew on the axis very well. This will be my IMAC machine and now on to practice 101. I love the slow rolls, very easy with this plane.

I just Order this Carbon fiber wing tube from TBM i think its gonna be enough 1.5"x48"x.062" heavy wall only i have to do its down size the long to 36" to fit in the plane

because the stock tube bent after some flights , and not hard flight
