I assembled mine, and have flown it about 8 times, I've had engine problems, so now it's waiting for a Brillelli 366GT 60cc motor that's being built for it. It came out to 16 pounds 5 oz. It just hovered before with the weak 50 it had, now it'll have another 1500rpm with the same prop so it should pull out of a hover like a rocket.

The few flights that I've had, this thing flys. I'm not a 3D flier yet, but with this I will be I had this in a flat spin for about 20 seconds and I don't think it came down 30 feet. I feel that if I had added power it would have gone up, but just when I was going to try that the engine quit. The plane seems to have no vices, floats in soooooo slooow on landings. I love it.

Yea, 10.5 inches, but about 4 inches into the cowl there's a ply ring that is about 1/2 inch tall all the way around, if that matters to you.

That's the cowl ring for mounting, it is agains F1 and is well behind the engine.

Shaun's plane was from the first sample run of 6 planes, we changed the cowl ring to 1 piece after that.

We are very fortunate to have many excellent fields. I am a member at North Dallas RC (ndrcc.com) and the Lake Dallas Falcons. Other nice fields are in Grapevine, Fort Worth Thunderbirds, Great SouthWest is in NE Fort Worth, and there is a club out west called Texas Wings. I have flown at all of these, also up north in Sherman. There's a public field in Denton also, a little tight but still available to the public.

I know there are several others also but these are the ones where I have flown.
