Default 50 cc EF Extra 300?

Is this rumor or fact, an Extreme Flight 50cc Extra 300? If so, when? I hope it has the yellow and blue scheme!

Fact. I saw it at the Atlanta Huckfest, and my son had a chance to fly it some. It belonged to Chris Maier (sp). It was yellow and blue, but I don't know if the production models will be that color, I assume they will be.

Here is a picture posted in the huckfest thread:

I am getting one of these models when they arrive, and at the moment there is one being flown in the UK as a demo model, here are some videos of that one.
I believe our shipment is due in the end of this month, if thats the case I will get a build thread going for you guys,

don't mean to sound like a buzz kill but I thought I read a weight of 18lbs? Thats kind of porky for a 50cc model! Anyone have any real info on weight for this model?

wasn't trying to stir the waters, from that sounds of it I am guessing I am not the 1st person to bring this up. I am not trying to cause a debate, I in fact like the airplane from the reports and pics and am considering it once it hits the shores. Just want to get the facts straight before I commit

Just kiddin' wtih ya. This came up with the EF Yak about a hundred times.....turns out it's probably the best flying, most sought after plane out right now. I haven't flow eithor of EF's planes but they are top notch. I was at their shop last week picking up a motor and had to drool over that Extra! I will have one.....and I'm not going to weigh it when it is done!

Did you see the size of the plane?
Or the 50cc Yak?

They are HUGE for a 50cc plane.
So even at 18lbs they can really float.

If you have not owned an Extreme Flight plane.. I wouldn't comment...
until you do own one, you might not understand.

They are SICK...

I will be on the list for the 150cc extra the day you can be.

The Extreme Flight 88 inch 50cc Extra is a reality, and the container is leaving China on November 25th, which should put them at our warehouse right around Christmas. The yellow and blue Extra pictured from the Huckfest is 17 lbs with a DA-50 and ES Composites tuned pipe. The Extra will be offered in the yellow/blue scheme and the red/white/blue and black scheme that is on the 58" Extra and 150cc Extra.
