Pretty cool, may have to give that a shot. I am curious how long it lasts. Has anyone tried this yet?

It's a bunch of crap. Watch it again, just before he puts the cap on he puts a fourth ingredient in. I'll bet 10 bucks Dew, peroxide, and baking soda does absolutely nothing. It would be cool if it worked though.

Good eyes. He picks up something with his hand thats behind the baking soda box. Then he sneaks it into the bottle with his thumb before closing the cap.

Still pretty cool to see it glow like that though..

Agreed! I read somewhere what that ingredient is, but have since forgotten.

the real deal!

What chemicals are in a glow light?
The glow light is made of two parts which when mixed together create the chemical reaction which makes them glow.
  1. 4 g sodium carbonate
    0.2 g luminol
    0.5 g ammonium carbonate
    0.4 g copper sulfate pentahydrate
approx. 1 litre of distilled water.
50 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide
approx. 1 litre of distilled water
  1. i dont get the water part??? but something in there im betting sets the soda mix off

Yup it doesn't work. I had a lady at work try this a couple days ago at work on Halloween. She went to the store to get a bottle of Do but the store had none, sold out. Go figure. I bet someone a Moutain Do is loving all the extra do that's being sold right now to try this.
