I would by the Hybrid from Ohio Model Planes. It has a 92" wingspan and flys like a big foamy. Strap a DA-50 with a pipe on it and you will also have a rocket. Good Luck on whatever you purchase!

I don't think you could get a new DA for less than 700. I think the motor costs like 600 and the muffler is like another 150. Why spend the money, when you could get a TOC 53 for about 400, and it has a little more power. Other than that I might take a Wild Hare Edge, even though that does run you over 700.

I would check with ExtremeFlight or Brillelli engines... they offer a 74" Extreme Flight Yak with Brillelli 46 gas engine for around 700 or 750.... very good plane and motor for the money. If you like 3D planes, and you want a truly balisic combo.. give them a try.

I've got the combo (but I bought it before there was a combo price).. its not a 100cc plane, but its the best "value" in my fleet! Really fun to fly. I met the Brillelli guys this past weekend at the Atlanta Huckfest... those boys know how to have a good time! And how to build and fly a good plane!
