thats the thing, the bolt isnt the problem, we simply cant get our hands in there.
its about a 2" x 1" space, just no room to manuver fingers and/or bolt.
i may try to find a hex head, and use a little 1/4" ratchet?

i never thought of your option 3 body clip idea.
Not to belabor the point, but I have a QQ Yak which uses the spring clips. They are still a PITA on the front studs. I finally tied the front and rear clips together with a long piece of string so at least I could retrieve them from those tiny dark places that they fall into about every third time I install the wings. I'd try a bolt arrangement before the pins.

stang I did option 3 on the front of the wing. Cut off the head of the original bolts and epoxie them in the wing then file a flat before you drill the hole for the pin then use a punch to mark then drill. On the rear of the wing I used wing nuts.

With a little bit of lateral thought the pin clip solution can be made the easiest, if you can't get it in vertically try horizontally instead.

At this point the only place you can get them is in the classified ads.

Ben is not offering these anymore at this time.............(notice I say at this time). They could make a return at a later date but I know 3D Hobby Shop is preparing to release some other giant scale airplanes in the very near future.

I'm hoping with me poking and prodding ben over the last year ,...that there is a 100cc extra coming! I think he made a good dent in the 50cc arena , and definetly has made huge waves in the smaller electrics. I'd love to see a 100cc , 104"-110" extra 300 or 260 , with that wild looking red/white and black scheme!

well then...that does it! I'll hold out until this next spring or summer and see what you come out with Ben. I'm in no hurry , and i know the 3DHS extra would be worth waiting for. I'll be keeping an eye open for some sneak peak pictures of some type.
