Default Saito 180 MAYHEM!

alright, I bought a year ago a SIG Mayhem 3D from my buddy, cheap. just to put my Saito 180 in some thing. well, I love my Saito, and my Mayhem is about retired now and I'm looking at the following planes. (favorite to least favorite)

ExtremeFlight 74" Yak 54.
Hangar 9 27% Extra 260.
QQ Yak 54.

YES the QQ yak flies amazing but is also more money and I cannot stand the scheme!

what yall recommend?

Before going to all gas airplanes, my Saito 180 flew best with a Mejzlik 18x6 prop. With 30% nitro fuel. When I was using 30% nitro the APC 17x6 prop wasn't enough prop for that engine.

I run only 15% WildCat in all my engines sept for Pylon racers..

seems like the 17x6 is perfect for this % of fuel. I might try a 18x6 though just to see.

Aeroworks .90-1.20 Yak-54. By far the best plane I have ever flown and the most fun i have have had building a plane. I have mine with the 1.80 swinging an APC 18x6W prop. Tons of power!

BELIEVE ME.. I had one., It was the 72" and it was AWESOME.. I don't like the yak.. I love the plane.. Just not the round cowl.. I like a cowl that looks mean.. LIKE the Cap232.. BUT the yak is the best flying plane I have had yet.. I have a Dave Patric edge 540 now. It had a 180 on it and it was GREAT.. It did not have quite enough power.. SAITO 220!! NOW. IT HAVE PLEANNNNTTTYYY!!

Good choice

A yak is very awesome in freestyle aerobatics, it's not as popular in IMAC stuff.
