Update.....

Well tonight I got to sneak downstairs and accomplish a little. I glued the leading edges of the stabalizaer on tonight and it turned out great. I will get up tomorrow and start on the inside stringers of the stabalizer.

More to come.......

Shane,
IMO the Dubro flat hinges are a better option for this plane because there is more surface area contacting the wood. The pinned hinges stick thru the wood and most of the hinge is in air not wood. This is just my 2 cents worth.

I was just looking at the plans and realized that OMP sent me two sets for the wing instead of one for the fuselage. Oh well, I guess I will just have to give John a call at OMP. He is a great guy to deal with so I am sure that I will be getting some in the mail shortly at no charge.
Sorry bout that. We found the other customer by the way who got two fuse plans! haha. Guess they got mixed up.

I'd second the flat hinges for the tail since the surfaces are flat to begin with. Use the robart pin hinges on the ailerons though if you want to.

Update.....

Well it has been quite some time since I have posted on this one. I have been so busy with school and work. Anyway, not to much progress but I did manage to put all the stringers in the horizontal stabalizer. Like Levi (LJJ) says there is nothing better than a good joint. The next step is the sheeting and then onto starting the fuse.

I sure am glad that I called this my winter build. Sorry guys for such a delay. I will update some more soon. Thanks

I realllllly like the looks of this type of plane. Does anyone make one in an arf version. I am not really into building, would rather just put one together and go fly.
