I have owned both. I just sold my 3M Extra 260. Both fly really well, but the SX flies 3D better and I like the profile more. I started competing IMAC last year and my flying performance is about the same on both planes.

Looks like you went with the 260. You'll be very happy with it. This question is analogous to "what sport bike should I buy". The one you like the looks of better.

the order has gone through and they clam it will take 4-8 weeks we'll see, wife said if it comes in in time for Christmas, it will be wrapped and put under the tree, Yea Right like it will fit under our tree much less in the living room.

I got the 3m yellow kiwi. And you are correct, it will not fit under the tree. The most difficult part of the shippment is trying to puch it in the garage. Its super big, whent I saw it I thought I made a mistake and ordered the 3.3 yak.

I bought mine with greves pipes when I saw the invoice I thought of how scared I will be when it is time do the maiden. It took me all last summer and school year to pay for it. Now I am pretty much done and all I need is a spinner.
