OK folks here it is my first IMAC plane and its COOOOL!!!!!!!!
Comp ARF 2.6 Extra 300SX DA-100 (on cans)...will be here tomorrow Power Box Royal package from Duralite...Great people to work with. JR X9309 2.4 JR 8611a's all around.........On back order ![]() Only problem with plane is some minor paint imperfections, cant see it from 3' away or high speeds over the runway I'm sure. And the cowling had a crack in it on the front upper section, a little epoxy and touch up paint and whala, no problem. I know the power system is a little much, but....It will be great when I move up to 40%. After a trip to hobby shop for some building items tomorrow, I will dive right in and get started. Any advise......And I mean any is welcome. So enjoy the pics and if you have any request for a certain shot of the plane let me know. |

thanks but I have only 6 flights on it, but I like flying the 330L better so far, just not sure about the landing gear mount, just about to lose it but the 300sx is solid so far, I had to add some right thrust to get the upline straightened out

I have been flying the 2.6 300SX since the beginning of September and love it!! Knife Edge and Inverted Harriers are Sweet!! The plane has a DA-100 with Compact mufflers, Smart Fly Dual Reg and Power Expander, Hitec 5955's, Fromeco batteries. If you need any pictures of my install just ask and I'll be happy to send a few. Great Airplane!!

Comp ARF owners....Question......Did any body have a cowling where the seams are, that were unfinished. Is this normal and if not how did you repair it...........I would guess touch up paint, or is that what the pin stripe material is for.

thats what the stripes are for but be gentle, the stripes I got were not cut too straight, looks like they paint a large sheet then strip it

I'm going to use dark window tint on the canopy so that I can still see the lights for the receivers and stuff
