I really don't think you need to use 2 horns on the comp-arf control surface. I used ball links on the servo arm (SWB) and stock clevis on the flight surface. Many flights to date with no problems. Simple and easy, with little work involved.
It's the one in my avatar (not an sx), but 22.5 lbs and flies sweet

Check this out do yall think it would be ok to use just aluminum horn with ball link instead of two, and SWB arm on the other end. I can't see that it would twist or have a side pull ??????????

Good question eagle, I can do several things, 1st just use a sharp punch and make a bunch of demples, or I can just use a course grinder or something and/or drill some 1/16 holes and make sure that epoxy gets through the holes.

you think if you made the sides of the horns like a saw tooth pattern would give any bond advantage?

Eagle did you use the whole 30mm stand off ? I think I could go 25mm and still be allright. Then I dont have to get longer bolts.
