Default airframe for 30% electric

i have a lehner 3060 motor, which produces about 10 horsepower. up to now i have never flown anything bigger than a 60" plane. i would like to ask what would be the best airframe to use for my project taking into consideration- this is my first giant scale, it has to stay under 28 lbs., i want to fly aerobatic/3d, and i like scale looks. oh, i also would like to stick w/ a ARF or ARC, as i prefer not to build. thanks

No need to get snippy.......won't make friends that way.

Giant scale electrics are catching on but nowhere near the popularity of gassers. The number of modelers with experience is somewhat limited right now. The Extreme Flight 88" Yak would be a good candidate for E-Power as it is quite light and quite big so it could handle a little more weight from batteries.

What size plane do you want, you could fly a 35% plane at 28 pounds. There are several planes to choose from under 28lbs. The plane Cracky mentioned is one of the best. I have an Airwild 29% extra 260 that weighs about 17 lbs. ready to fly. I don't know anything about the motor you have or what it can power, but if it's got 10 hp you should look for something bigger, 32% to 35% size plane.Click image for larger version

the motor produces ~7000 watts(10 horsepower) as I mentioned. I am looking for something in the 30-35% class. I have a few in mind- aeroworks 35% 260, krill velox 33%?, or the new QQpython. oh, cant forget the new hangar 9 260- I have also been looking at airwilds giles 300 38%, it is composite, and on sale! the airwild, one of you said, you are currently flying, are u happy w/ it? and have you flown many other large scale planes? thx

The only gassers I've flown are Wild Hare's. I haven't flown larger than 50cc but they are great anyway. I don't think you'd be able to go wrong with a 35% Extra or Sukhoi from Wild hare.
