But I do charge a little more to build a Carden than a Dalton. Normally I can build a Dalton of any size or model in three weeks. That's from a box of wood and foam to a ready to cover airplane. That's also just working at nights and weekends. Since January I have completed three MEL 300's, 2/3 finished with a standard 300 for Mike Milos and have started another MEL 300 for Don Hamilton. I also went to three IMAC event's and finised my NOT TO SCALE Giles 202.
I also think if you build Cardens more than Daltons your going to pick up little ideas here and there on how to make the build faster. That's what I've done with the Daltons. This is from someone that built nothing but Aerotechs before I ever met Tony. I hope this helps. Rob
Hey Greg,
I couldn't agree with Rob any more!!

Cardens are by far the best kits and flying planes out there.
If you don't believe me check the resale values of both and that will only reinforce my comment.
Thank You.

I think dalton has the best customer service in the world. I dont even fly one and in the heat of a stressfull competition Tony Russo saw that I had a 32x10 prop laying around and I was looking for some one to drill. He gladly offered to do it and brought it back the next day free of charge after I insisted tons. Thanks again tony for that gesture.

I not going to battle with a 16 year old. I already have an 18 year that thinks he knows everything. I tell you one thing, if you did call Tony on the phone and did not leave a message or something than somethings wrong. Tony always calls back. Rob

I called, and left multiple e-mails. I could have also sent him a telegraph, fax, and smoke signals.

I like them both I've flown the Carden 540 40% and the 260 40% and was very pleased. Havent had the chance to fly a dalton though, but seriously they have to be an awesome plane, every guy and their moms have daltons.

I am sorry if you left emails and messages that didnt get returned. I dont want to sit here and make excuses for myself but the past 6 months have been real busy with moving and starting a new job. I try to make myself accesible as possible without mixing my buisness with DA. Thanks for the business and if given the opportunity in the future things will be better. If theres anything you need now for your plane please let me know.
