Default Omei 2000 EP

Has anyone had a chance to fly one of these? I bought one and it looks like it will be a fast one. Think it will be like a Speedy, another plane with elevator and aileron only? Any Info will be helpful. Thanks

Hey Uproar, I have had an Omei with a brushless setup for a little while now. I'm just heading out of the house but I'll get you more info on the setup when I get back. Here's a video of my Omei with the 650 watt setup:

One thing I learned about the Omei is if you are doing a low fast pass, try not to bank too much. That is all.....

That was one fun little sailplane.....The biggest thing we had to worry about was the battery in the transmitter dieing before we finished flying...it just kept going...and going...and going.......

i always liked the powerhouse hotliners, someday i plan to get a nice power thermal ship, the desire comes and goes, but haven flown real gliders for a few years, soaring always comes back to me heheh, one thing i dont like about hotliners, is not haven a rudder...

Hi,

I loved my Omei. I had a LOT of flights on it, both electric powered and slope, but mostly slope. One day I had a high speed encounter with a Bat (not the mammal, the foam glider of the same name) which took half my wing off. I succeeded in landing it, but it was not worth the effort to repair.
