What a day. Quique finally brings home the wood with a win at the 2007 World F3A Championships 2007. Man this competition went down to the wire.

Today was so darned hot and uncomfortable it nearly dropped us in the peanut gallery. Sweltering hot sun, windy but nothing like it has been over the past few days. High humidity so sweat was dripping off everyone.

But the boys played a solid aqnd hard game right up to the end.

Quique first
Christophe second
Mr Onda in third place
Jason in fourth
Sebastiano in fifth.

I cant give you more placings than that as they will not be announced until the dinner tonight. In fact Jason and Seba are unofficial but overheard in the bathroom.

Guys I apologize for not having anything during the day but we had a melt down on our network hotspot and I think someone pulled the plug on the router to stop us uploading from the field itself.

I have a ton of really good video, great photos but I cannot do much with them until I get back I get back home on Tuesday.

Tonight I am totally whacked, sunburned to a crisp and just need to sleep.

See you all when I get back home and thanks a ton for the support and comments guys. This is not an easy task getting all this stuff done single handed.

Off the front page so I can have a little say here.

Guys Andrew and Jason flew the pants off the planes. They put in performances that were clearly better than others. I have no idea how the judging system really works in F3A but its definitely not like IMAC. These two were constant and solid all week. I suppose it counts to nothing as the last day starts from Zero but guys we have two absolutely top pilots performing here. I suppose there is only room for three at the top but these guys were right there, every step of the way.

I`m off for a shower and a scrub and then the closing dinner. If anything crops up I will let yoiu know here.

Maybe they figure Andrew and Jason are young, and they'll get another shot at it.
