Just so everyone understands, in order for Quique to represent the United States he had to live in the US and not have represented another country at the WC for at least three years. He did this, and you have to believe this was a pretty big scarifice for him. I know I'm honored to have him represent the US.

This years team was one of real gentlemen, led by Al Glenn as Team Manager.

Hey guys,

Just made it back to the states sitting here at MIA airport. JAS, Ryan Smith, and Dave Stodart made the trip back. We had a wonderful time in Argentina, many great people and great things in that country. I'm very proud to be part of Team USA. I could not have asked for better team mates then the ones that were on the team. Jas and QQ flew there butts off the whole weekend. Well time for me to board the airplane back to DTW then the normal life begins again.

Looking at the results of the finals posted earlier in this thread, I am at a loss. It appears the final score is composed of 2 scores from the finals rounds. It seems random which two scores are kept for the final score. it is not always the 2 highest scores, can somebody explain how it is determined which 2 scores to keep.

Congrats team USA!!!

Fly off 1 and 3 were known
Fly off 2 and 4 were unknown

The final result is the best known fly plus the best unknown fly.

In the finals they fly two rounds of "F" and two rounds of Unknowns. Scores are tabulated from the best F and best Unknown. Order of flight is F, unknown 1, F, unknown 2 (I think that order is right)

Not quite. Quique was flying his Euphoria pattern bipe, which I believe is powered by a YS 170. A 100cc airplane would not be allowed in F3A, as there is a 2 meter size limit.
