Almost done can be changed to flown. I took the plane to the field and put three flights on it today. Was everything I was hoping it would be. Only issue was some minor engine tuning, which still needs a little work on the low end. I know several people took some photos of the plane in flight so if I come across them I will post them.

Was a long road learning how the larger scale models are built and what electronics make them tick. Now I need another project.......

Great find Wayne! Almost 5 years to the day the kit was started. Amazing how long it took me to complete the plane. Learned a lot of tricks along the way.

Kiva,

The paint on the cowl and wheel pants is PPG Concept. I ordered it pre-color matched to monokote through Radio South. The yellow was a little off but the other two colors were spot on. I figure each batch of monokote is a little different color making a paint match almost impossible short of taking a sample of the monokote used to cover the plane to the paint store. Beyond that it was the best paint I ever sprayed.
