Default SD/Aviation Model 40% Extra 260

Maybe someone can help me out. I purchased a 40% SD 260 a few months ago and was comtemplating on whether I should put this thing together? I haven't seen or read a whole lot about the way this plane flies so if any one has ever seen or owned one of these please give me your opinion about how this plane flies. Pics would also be good, so if you have some post them. Thanks
Shawn

There are a couple build treads on this airplane here, They are under SD Models 42% Extra 260, one of them is by Freddy Warbird, I put one toghether for a friend and he loves it, I am also putting one toghether for me, if you build it you won't be disappointed

Awesome flying plane. I have had mine for about 7 months now. I can not say a single bad thing about it. You can see my build here....

http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...ld-thread.html

My weight came in at 41.6 with smoke tank and pump. I removed that and added carbon gear and wheel pants and now I am at 40.2 lbs. I was a little concerned myself because no one had one around here, but I like having somthing different than a yak! Put that baby togeather and enjoy it!

You already have it, put it together and enjoy it. I am starting a thread on the SD 40% Yak and I think it is one of the best quality ARF's out there, plus you can't go wrong with a 260. Good luck with it and keep it light.....

For those that are flying this plane with CF gear, how are they holding up? I hear there pretty stout compared to other brands.

I have the SD carbon gear on mine and love it. Light and strong. Tons better compared to the graphtech! If you break this thing its your own fault! LOL
