Default What .40 size for 3D practice??

Hi all, this is my first post, and I am in need of any and all opinions.Last year I got a H9 Twist 3D for practicing 3D down low. Well, as I soon found out, the Twist 3D is'nt the best 3D'er out there. So I'm asking for your opinions on "what's the best, mid-priced, (around $150.00) .40 size 3D ARF out there?" I'll be using a Saito .72 to power it. Well, thanks in advance for any and all replies. If it helps any, my regular bird is the Wild Hare Edge 540T.

You want a Mojo ARF. www.billyhellrc.com

72 is perfect.

If you are not to jazzy about a profile, suck it up and do it anyway. In that size bird and you want 3D, there is nothing better.

Go to the profile section here, or the Pro Bro site or even that other site and search Mojo, the raves are not fluff, it's real.

He said around $150. You can't touch a Mojo Arf new for $150, much less, you will need at least $25-$35 more in it. The Mojo DOES NOT come with any wheels, linkages, gas tank, wheel collars so on. You'll have $205 easy in an ARF...

There is nothing better for 3D practice than a profile. I found this out recently after buying a Katana 40 from Accel. The only thing that bothers me about this particular ARF is that it bobs in elevators, does not want to stall. Other than that it does a lot of cool things. Walking speed knife edges are awesome. Hovering is very stable. That price for a Mojo is high for a plane I am likely to dork very often.

The other good 3D practice plane is a the Shockflier but that almost needs to be flown indoors. It's hard to find calm days to fly it.

As far are the best 3D airplane for a Saito 72, well, there's only one answer...

I have owned all 3 planes (Katana 40,Shock,Mojo). Difference in price is that a Katana cannot be dorked much more than 1 time....and it can be torn in half flying a snap in a stiff breeze.... The Katana is a very easy plane to hover....but there is a reason why you can get these planes that cheap....once yours cracks open like a pinata, take a look inside and you'll see why.

You should have gone with the OMP Edge.

Yes,the Katana is glued together with what looks like toothpaste, but fly it, dork it, and reglue with some gorilla glue all over the inside of the fuse and around the wings and she'll last along time and take alot more dorkin around! I have an OMP yak also, excellent flier.

I think a good profile would be the new Accel Katana V2. It's buit a lot better then the original Katana's another choice could be the new Funtana X, I would wait untill someone does a review on it to see how well it performs though.
