Default New Extra 260 30% any advice

Hello all,

its a bit quiet so i thought i would share.

i have just purchased my first Giant Scale plane. Its a 30% Extra 260

strapped to the front is going to be a 3W 55i motor which should arrive this week.

anyone have any last minute advice before i start building ?

flying history -

boomerang - 46AX
Scanner - 55AX
Extra 260 - 3W 55i (late Jan)

for the servo's i am going with the hitec HS-5955TG

and the batteries the Fromeco brand

I like the red and black. Nice to see an Extra that does not look anerexic. The weight seems to be on par with other 50cc Extras. Should be a great performer. I will keep my eye on this thread.

Yer, once I've finished my UAV, 2 Rookies, 1 JL Grippen, another SD EXtra 260 then my shed will be clear.

Some new toys that i got yesterday and today for the Extra 260



yes that is the plane still in the box in the back ground.

i am waiting till after christmas to get the servos before i start building.

I got mine from TBM this week.

These is are pictures of the fuse as it comes, tank plumbed and installed.

I cut out the cowl. The cowl can be slipped off with the plug and cap still in place.

I'm using a DA50 header with no drop and a MTW 75K can. The MT62 is suppose to be a G-62 clone with EI.
