I keep mine simple in all me planes. As follows:
(2) 6v Expert 2700ma on the receiver
(2) JR switches JRPA001 run to separate ports
(1) 6v Expert 2700ma on the engine and use same switch.

A single A123 2300mah pack will provide all the power you will ever need. Get a pack with two output leads, use two switches and two standard JR servo connectors into the receiver. No regulators.

Get the battery packs equipped with a Cellpro charge lead and buy a FMA Cellpro chager. The whole package is less than $200 with shipping, including the two switches and the charger. The single pack will cost you $66.

There is nothing simpler and more effective on the market. You can get this stuff from me (Wild Hare R/C) or from Tanic packs.

In my 50cc Wild Hare I use a Smart Fly super reg so I can run 2 batteries. Right now I'm running just 1 switch but I'm going to start running 2. But I run 2 2600mah Fromeco Lipos.

Cool, are these smartfly things worth the extra cash. Its says it will regulate the voltage to the rx, eliminating the possibility of a quick drop cause it is seperate regulated power. Are these things just wasted weight or would it be worth it for extra insurace??????????THANKS 871
