Default Questions about 3W 106cc std

Hi,
I am new with big airplanes, I bought a used Quique Yak 54 with 3W 106cc std with DA electronic ignition. The engine is running not quite well, it gets very shaky around 1600 rpm and the Max rpm is around 5200 with TMB 28X10, the transition fairly ok. I would like to know a little bit more about this engine in order to get a better performance.
I am sorry for ask so many questions in one thread but I haven’t found any literature about these questions:
Aprox. Idle rpm with minimum vibration ( My propeller/hub is balanced ).
Aprox. Max rpm with TBM 28X10.
Operational temperature gap.
I read that there is away to increase the rpm with combinations between H and L, it’s a rule of thumb for that?
Any comment will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Faisal.

get someone at your local club that flys gas and have them tune the carb out,it sounds like it is way to rich.if you want ,turn the lowend in till you get just a little burble at 1/4 to 1/3rd throttle and set the high side to max rpm and then back off about 400 rpm then recheck the lowend and fly it

Isn't the timing or setup on a DA ignition slightly off the 3W (i.e. its not just a simple swap at the same locations)

If that's the case, that also could be your issue

Single magnet hub takes the DA Ignition.
Time as follows:
Leading edge of magnet aligns with sensor pole @TDC.

Use a sharpie pen to make the mark on the magnet leading edge.
Some DA sensors are have the pole marked, some don't, if not mark on outside with a sharpie.
Set motor to top dead center and align the sharpie marks, tighten sensor screws.

Thank you very much to all of you guys for your posting.

I was wondering all the time about timing of the electronic ignition. Thanks to Plane I know how setup correctly the sensor and the magnet.
By the way which is a good idle rpm (1600 to 1800)?
Thank you,
Faisal.

I like around 1500.......its really personal pref.

Once I taxi out I hit my idle up mix switch before takeoff that I use for downlines and stalls.
