That was John's plane. He also mounted the Optic kill light so it lit up on the Dash.

Will get started on it shortly !
Be sure to post some pictures of you're build.

While flying this weekend, 67fairlane's set up was fine. It was 49 degrees.

Out here in the central valley area, summer temps hit +110 at the the field. Weight matters then. Being able to pull 8 - 12 oz out of a plane is a major benefit when we are punching out of a hover or low and slow.

During the other 6 months of the year I agree that it is no big deal.

Guys,

Keep an eye on your wing anti-rotation pins. I'm up to 13 flights now, and had the rear pin on one wing, and the front pin on the other wing come loose at the root rib.

Don't know if you did it or not, but the instructions advise to wick medium ca around the ati-rotation pins.

I think the planes going to Virginia get an extra lighting compound. Sometimes it’s silver, sometimes grey. Usually when you see something that might be a mistake, it is------------except if it’s silver. That’s how you know you got the plane with the special lighting compound. Once cleaned you will lighten your plane by gob’s, and this is not to be confused with gob-a##---------for that is the girls that don’t get out in the winter.
Just trying to be a blessing! ----------If anything else needs clarification; just holler!----------Ah-haaaa

I personally like the ultra clear look to the canopy as opposed to the foggy silver but hey to each their own

Wow that canopy is crystal clear now. Just one question? Were is all the stuff that goes inside the airplane?
With that nice clean canopy we can see that there are no goodies inside!

Waiting on my wifes damn W-2's so we can get our return. Engine I am waiting on EF to get em back in stock as I ordered the combo with the DA-100L. No big rush we may be going to haiti to provide support for whats going on down there.
