I know You guys must be cold up thar!
![]() Well the weekend was very busy. Unfortunately very little had to do with building, much less flying. Anyway I did find sometime to make a little progress tonight. Got the stabs assembled, sealed the hinge lines, and ready to bolt on the plane. Assembly was pretty straight forward and very much like the 88" Yak except bigger. Same single drop servo, root mounted design.

Wings are typical set-up, with two aileron servos. Wings are hinged, assembled w/ servos and linkages. Just got to dial in and double check servo matching on the Hitec Digital Servo Programmer. The HS 5955 Servos were pre-programmed on the bench for end point adj., centering, and direction. Hinge line is fairly straight with about 1/16" and tighter gap, and eight Robart style hinges. Gap is satisfactory to me. I don't think I will seal the aileron hinge line. What do you guys think, should I seal the hinge line?

Seal the gap for sure. It can only make a great plane better. Looking great. When is the 100cc 300 going to be for sale?

Nice job sealing the gaps, very clean looking, it's worth the extra time for the finished look.

Thanks Lee,
I should be getting my tuned pipes any day now, Once I get them I will be able to lay-out and open up the cannister bays, get the landing gear and wheels on. Once its on it's legs I will do a comparison with the QQ 102" Yak and the EF 110" Yak in the front yard.
