Those rods are actually designed like that so you can turn them either way and either tighten or loosen the linkage, for fine-tuning purposes. Notice the square part to it in the middle so you can rotate it with pliers.

Are there any real differences between the EF 88" Yak and this Extra or are they about the same?

I know the Extra is supposed to be a little lighter, but if someone was looking for an airframe for IMAC and 3D, would there be an advantage of one over the other?

IDK for sure,but if you look down the flightline at the big IMAC events. There seems to be more Extras then Yaks. Guess youll have to buy both and find out!!

I agree, kinda like a sleek pure bred flying machine !! But I've had Extra's and out of all the Yaks I like Extreme Flights the best. I want one !
