flew today......

when i took her up i didnt know what to expect, about the same standard as the yak ? hoped so but omg even better !! this is one serious plane !! silky smooth and locks in like no other !! this thing has no stall point its none existant, harrier to the end of the strip to an almost stop and spin her round on the rudder with a smidge of throttle and she spins on a 2 pence peice maintaining wing level constantly and back down the strip with hardly any correction and of course the same standard throughout the rest of the manouvers, im in love with this thing, more than my yak, any1 wanna buy an unloved yak ?? lol

if you have one of these you know you wont be dissapointed ! if you dont have one ? GET ONE !!

Hey Nick,
It looks even better in the Yellow/Blue outside!! Selling my Yak is about the only way Id be able to get into the Extra right now. But I wont get rid of it..Ill need them both! I might sell my 74" with the OS 160..

Congrats on your flight.

Don't you mean watch me fly yours? I'm going to pay Chris an extra $50 just to move me ahead of you on the list!

Thanks for the flight report. How does it compare in harriers to the Yak?

its hard to beleive that the extra flys better than the yak isnt it, but only once you have flown it will you see for yourself, when i took her up on the first flight i was expecting the same impecable manners as the yak until i started to give some stick, it quite literally has no stall point for instance you can put it into a high alpha harrier and let it slow to almost standstill and turn her on her side into a knife edge postion and she will not flinch she just sits there waiting for a little throttle to bring her back down the strip in the most awesome display of a very low down and dirty high alpha KE right past your face with no coupling what so ever, yes.... i said none what-so-ever,
its so locked in it will make you feel your the smoothest flyer on the feild, i had a few guys standing round me when i was flying and they could not believe it when i took my finger of the throttle/rudder stick whilst in a very low harrier across the feild and flew her one handed as she just sailed past us like she was on rails, rolling circuits, rolling loops, snap rolls, torque roll and prop hang are all to easy with this beast, yes the yak is one awesome machine but beleive it or not they have actually managed to make the extra better !!

Are you saying you had a 88" 50cc Extra 300 on your porch last night?
The web site still states:"the new Extreme Flight RC 50cc Extra 300 is on the way! "
What's up?

Did you opt for the Y&B or RW&B?

Yes they got the first shipment but most were sold before they arrived because people have been on a waiting list. If you want one your best bet is to call and get on the list for the next shipment that will be here the end of the month, they're going fast!! There is a chance they may still have a couple blue and yellow schemes but I'm not 100% sure. I can tell you after getting mine I can see why most of Chris's planes are sold before they even arrive, construction and finish are the best I've seen, plus the whole package is awesome. The helmet head pilot and dash panel are top notch and really add a nice finished look with the included depron canopy floor. I can't see anyone being unhappy with this purchase. Now I see why Extreme Flight has so many loyal customers, I can tell you they just got another one.

I ordered one on New Years Eve and mine should be here Monday. I can't wait, I'm very excited. I was surprised to see it coming so soon, I was expecting to be on that waiting list.
