That seams like a pretty sweet deal to me, I have been looking for 4 Hitec servos for this little Extreme Flight Yak I am going to build and now I can’t believe my eyes, that is at least $4 cheaper per servo than offered anywhere.

Is this for real, is central hobbies a place you guys would order from?

Stainless Skills - Central Hobbies is a GREAT RC Hobby Shop. They are just up North of me about 4 hours. I order a LOT on-line from them and whenever we go up to see our daughter it is always a must stop for me to see whats knew

We are actually leaving in the morning to go up to see our daughter since she couldn't make it home for Christmas down here due to a bad snow storm. Plan on stopping off at Central as well as Abell's while were up there.

You won't go wrong with Central and they are great to work with over the phone as well if you have any questions.

This auction is run by a person with only two feedback ratings. Just be sure to use an escrow service for that kind of $$$ - Escrows are cheap insurance for both of you and the seller - whom should be willing to help pay if you are winning bidder. Ask those questions first tho!

His other auction is interesting:

Um, on this other auction- I also would look at those " NEW, NEVER RAN, NEW CONDITION" muffler stacks a little closer? Better ask stupid questions.

Sorry you all are probably veteran E Bayer's like myself and use caution when dealing $1000.00 bills to strangers. ( November 2000 first bid and only had a fraud once, when item auctioned was not what was shipped. - fantastically good ending tho.)

Ya but if you look at his ratings he sold an engine just like it before....no problems.
Those stacks may just be grease for some hands....who knows anythings possible its EBAY. Still its something like $4250.00 or so for that engine....if your lucky you get it for alot less.

Riiiiiiiiight , all two of the ratings. Sold to a friend or duplicate of himself. With E Bay or the auction equals -Tread very lightly when the deal is too good to be true. He has never bought a single thing either? Ask for pictures at different angles, ask about the grease inside the stacks... how much for shipping & duh HANDLING??


He may very well be legitimate - I'm just cautioning that make him prove it before you bid.

When it comes to high dollar stuff... just have the person use a "escrow" serice of your choice.

They take your money, and don't give it to the person until they get the motor.

This at least takes away the fear that your just sending money out with no chance of getting the item.

Just a thought.

Ended up going for over $2500 ..... in the last 30 secs of the auction price jumped up from $1,225

Kept an eye on this one just because .... might have bid on it but what the heck plane would you put it in (without having to deal with all the AMA weight limit / special exemption issues)...

They just went up to 50% off
bought all my servos switches/extensions for my 50cc extra 260
+ nelson harware etc etc servos alone were over 500.
cost 340 out the door
