Just read the details very carefully... Lanier planes don't include a hardware package as extensive as most ARF's today, and with Lianier and Goldberg recently purchased by Great Planes, I think you can guess what these sale prices mean to the future of those product lines. I've owned a Lanier Ultimate bipe, it was rock solid and straight as an arrow. They have a reputation for being heavy, but good flying planes.

$1600 for a ready to go 33% setup is a great deal IMHO. DA 100 with mufflers is about $1300 itself. Add the plane for about $900 to $1000. They are about 1/2 price of new if I am not mistaken.
