I am putting together a 33% AW Extra 330 ARF that I got one heck of a deal in. I am wondering if my combination will be good enough for blasting around and doing some mild 3D and T-Rolling. The guy that I got it from had a DA 100 with cans, 2 4000 Duralites and a Duralite on the ignition with dual Rx,s. His weight came out at a little over 26 lbs. I plan on using 1 2700 Nmh on the flight surfaces and a 1650 Nmh on the ignition with one Rx. My big question is the choice of engine that I am planning on using a 3W 80 B2 that I am using on my 33% H9 Cap. With a 24-10 Menz wood it flys rock solid with plenty of power. I am worried that this may not be enough engine for this airframe. Let me know if anyone has tried this set-up and if anyone has any hints or set-ups for this plane.
