I've been looking at matching either plane with a DA-85. Which would be the better platform for strictly precision/IMAC flying? I'm not really interested in 3D at the moment. Any one have history as to the amount of mixing required with either plane?
Thanks |

I have chosen to go with the Xtra 260 with the DA85 for next years IMAC airplane. Not ordered it yet but will in a few weeks. Mark Dennis at Aeroworks would probably be the guy with the most experience with these two airframes, but generally speaking the Extra makes a little better precision flyer than the Yak.

Both planes fly Percision very well but to be honest the Yak has a slight edge. It holds lines a little cleaner and to me it presents better and rolls much cleaner. If it helps at all im switching from the 42% Extra to the 40% Yak for the 08 IMAC season mainly because of the reasons mentioned above.

Mark--Do you have an instrument panel for the 75cc Extra 260 ? I saw one on your web site for a 33% Extra 300 I think. I'll be needing one for the 260. Thanks
