hi folks, i am currently flying the esky belt cp with the stocker esky servos,, i was wondering what would be a better servo to go upgrade to for speed and lack of slop... would the HS55 or HS 65 be the best choice here?? thanks

How big is your wallet ? You can upgrade to some of the trick JR digitals, or Futaba I believe is making some fine micros for the 400 size ships. It all depends how you want it to react. MORE $$=higher speed, and better response and feel. The 65's do pretty well in the 400 size ships, and have long been the standard for the TREX 450, and others.

thanks, this heli will soon be in a coast gaurd a109 body so super sonic 3d fast is not critical, but better centering and a bit faster is important, i will likly go the hs65 route,, next im gonna try carbon blades hehe

I have been using the futaba 3154 servos with very good success as many people have. I think it is a toss up between what you have laying around and what you have to buy.

looks like the hs 65 mg will be it,, i have 3 laying around hehehe, was going to use in my bobcat.. but...... on a side note for scale flying would a heading hold gyro be better then a standard gyro? im using the stock esky stuff but it works well for my needs.
mike ps, animal, i cant beleave your still using that pic for avatar,, tho i did make it a good one heheh. the origianl pic had george bushs face on the monkey haha

For scale flying a heading hold gyro will not be that critical. Add a futaba 240 if you want a little improvement or a 401 for something more useable in the future.
