I was wondering if someone would be interested in building a B-52 designed for EDF? I was going to start selling these and even have someone interested in making a fiberglass fuse for it. I just don't have the time to get it going with so many other things going on. So here is what I am asking.
Build the plane from my short kit and plans Take pictures of the build Write down your building process of the plane I know it sounds like alot but if someone has the time and is interested in doing this let me know. Plus you can keep the plane. Specs: 104" wingspan 94" fuse length |

I have actually seen a smaller one fly at Best in the West Jet rally in SoCal. Cant remeber the guys name but he is akiller pilot you havent lived until you have seen a B-52 do rolling cirlces at about twenty feet. If you ever kit this let us know I may be interested in one.. Same pilot later in the evening (after the event had wrapped for the day) a friend and I were practicing some pylon racing withour T-6's and he bust out his Bobcat and does some hot laps sub ten feet. nothing like seeing a turby in skilled hands..
Good luck with your search GMONEY |

Thats a pretty serious wing. What ideas do you have for retracts? and what kind of power are you looking at did you design this bird around any specific fan units? Foam wing or built up? How scale are you looking for? any specific model I think they are up to like ZZ on the old girl. If you want or need to keep quite I understand.. Foam fuse?

Thanks for the replies. To answere everyones question one day I posted about 3 for sale ads and for some reason it kept sending me email after email after email saying is was renewing. Don't know why don' know how it just did. And here you have over 2 million posts when I really have about 12. GMONEY I will let you know about a kit in the future. Also I have heard about that guy before pretty funny stuff. I have it designed aroung 480 size fan units. That is changing though as there is alot more stuff out there now. It is Foam wings and a built up fuse. I can put it into a 3 piece wing and 2 piece fuse if needed.
Thanks again everyone. |

I'd like to build one......but I'm moving sometime soon so I wouldn't be a good choice unless you want to wait.
