I got mine today... Man, you guys did a GREAT job with this plane! the covering, extension guides in the fuse, HUGE control surfaces,.. everything was just what I was looking for. This is going to be a fun replacement for the AW Extra 260. Thanks!

I do not like the shape of this one. Looks odd compared to the other Pythons on the market.

I like the compact design. Looks easy to transport and assemble.

What other Pythons are there on the market? The only other two I know of are the QQ and the Aerotech.

I think that the fuse isn't "fat" enough, especially the cowling. Just my 2 cents

I'm not going to argue with that.. I don't think its intended to be a scale plane... but it looks great to me!

Not bashing the plane, I own two Aeroworks planes the 50cc Yak with a DA-50 and the 75cc with the ZDZ Super 80. Both planes are top notch and I am very happy with them, they fly like they are on rails and I'm sure the Python will also. I watched the video and it was impressive. Keep us up to date on your build, I love bipes!!!!

Same here.. this will be my 3rd aeroworks.. I had the 90-120 Yak (never could resolve radio interference problems.. eventually fate took its course) and I have the 50cc Extra, it's been rock solid for a couple of years. I'm thinking about gutting the motor and servos from the Extra and moving them over to the bipe. I just finished a 100cc Extreme Composites Edge 540, so I figure the 50cc Extra will sit collecting dust if I don't retire it.
I'll do a build thread on it, althoug a thread on an Aeroworks plane might only take a dozen or so entries.. these things go together pretty fast. |

Yeah that's what I like about the QB series, it takes no time at all to get them together. After my second one I'm almost addicted to them, because of my time limitations here due to my job it makes it a lot easier for me to get to the field and in the air. I work for Hendrick Motorsports in the engine dept, we have 4 Nextel Cup teams and two Busch teams and all the lease programs to take care of. Not complaining, I love my job would not trade it for any other job anywhere and they really take care of us.
Life's short, pray hard!! |

I think I may have talked to you before... I work for Motorola, but do a lot of work with Lowe's up in N. Wilkesboro... I'd like to get by sometime and see you guys' shop, but schedules just never seem to work out.. I guess things are pretty busy right now with February just around the corner!

Yes we have talked before, things are going to be real busy after Christmas vacation. We will be doing six days a week untill after the Daytona 500, so sometime after that maybe we can get together and get you a tour.
