Where are you guys ordering depron from?
I know a place that sells some with CF rods as well. Also what kinda of programs are you using to draw up the plans? |

Cool... I have wondered when someone was gonna do Jurgi's plane...
Is he the guy that did the "Under the Bridge" thing! I think there is a picture of him hovering a Su31 too!!! He'da man! A lot of foamie action starting lately.. I am doing one too!!! I went with a biplane to try and get a stiffer airframe.. this one is A20-20L size for a 1200 mah Duralite 3 cell LiPo. AUW at about 16 ounces.. this is the prototype so I did nothing for weight reduction.. if she flies true.. I will try and milla bit of weight off.... |

Mithrandir, yes, he's definitely the Sukhoi guy under the bridge! : ) If memory serves me right, I believe he also had a hand in the development of the Sukhois as well......
SP33D, I'll add a little bit to the first post about where to get depron and carbon. |

Hello my friends from USA and the entire World. Here in Argentine is summer and we have warm days!......Obviously I prefer my gasoline airplane but the foammys are the best to practice agressive manouvers
.....I have an Edge 540 from "G Land Airplanes"....Greetings! |

I sure wish I had a big gym in my backyard to fly foamies in! Thanks for the thread Jeremy. Where is the best place to get the carbon from these days?

So what is the trick to get the zip file to work. I can not get it to download and open to save my life I have auto cad 2006 and it is not recognizing the file. I really want to try and built this plane looks like it flies really well, that is if matchless is still willing to give away the plans for it.
Thanks for doing the series really cleared up alot of questions i had about the indoor foamies. I have only had the 12 to 14 oz foamies until now. Thanks again matchless the series was very help full and anwered alot of my questions about building the light foamies. Last edited by 383chevelle; 01-10-2008 at 12:39 PM. |

I finished my Juka!!
![]() The next indoor session is next Saturday so I probably won't be able to fly it before then, unless the wind gets really calm this weekend. My setup is: AXI 2203/46 APC 7x4 SF Dymond 47 x 4 Flightpower EVO lite 350 2s Thunderbird 9 The AUW is around 142 grams. Maybe I could save a couple grams by using a GWS prop instead of APC..? Thank you again Jeremy for this great tutorial! I've wanted to scratch build a foamie for a long time and thanks to you I finally got around to it. Here are a few pics of my Juka. |
