Alright I noticed this was already in the general section but lets see whats up for the SC Region..Come on you guys. Throw up some pictures of your plane for the 2008 season. It may even get listed on the IMAC Website...I am going to list some new rides on there under the quick shots. I thought it would be neat to randomly show some new planes for the 08 season until the contests start... If its unfinished we wont laugh..Show us some pictures anyway. For example!!!.How about it Dan P..I know you have one!!

This will be my first season in IMAC basic class. I'll be flying a Hangar 9 27% Extra 260 with a DA50. Got a 75cc Dietrich Extra 260 on pre-order, but I doubt very seriously if I will have it done in time to fly much this season, since it wont be in until March. I'm really looking forward to my first go at this!!

i've brought back from the dead. Not the best looking plane, but hey... we can only fly what we can afford, right? ![]() 3W 106, all hitec servos, and A123 batts. EVERYTHING bought used(except the A123s) |

Trying to figure out what I want. I have the WH 85" Sukhoi. That should be a good start to IMAC in basic shouldnt it? I want to buy either a WH 35% Sukhoi, a WH 35% Extra 300, or an AeroWorks 35% Extra 260. I have a DA100 on muffler to go in one. Opinions welcome.

As of right now I will still be flying the Aeroworks 260, but a lot can change between now and March.
I was thinking of going to Intermediate so I am trying to get this tuned in for some of the inverted maneuvers. |

Going to fly the tried and true Comp-Arf 3.1 Super Extra. New spark plugs, landing gear "since I can't stop breaking them and all new fuel tubing. Ought to be good to go. Got some new trimming to put in and much practice before the season opener in New Iberia.

Yea scott. Just been charging, putting gas and go fly for months. It's been a good plane and I hope I can just keep bringing her in smoothly. Every now and then I make a bit of a hard landing and those stock gear just can take only so much of the 41 pounds pounding. I'll fly the same for another season and just do some trimming to get it quicker now that I have a snap roll.
Well, it's almost time for Santa so I gotta go put out some cookies and milk. ha ha

I'm happy to announce that my AW 29% Extra 260 is up for sale. It was the best flying 30% class airplane I ever flew. I'll miss it.
I'm nearing completion on my 35% Dalton 260 and will have it finnished up before too much longer. I intend to finnish it in time to get some stick time with her and get things sorted out before the season starts. My backup airframe will be an old CA330L that has had a rough life but she flys great.
