Can you say how many orders it would take to make a run possible?

And add my name to the list...

As we said before if there are enough people legitimately interested in PAK versions we will consider doing a run of them again.

We would have to order a container to make it worth while. Depending on the combination its alot of planes.

If we were to do another run of PAK kits it would take at least 6 to 8 months to get them in from our order date.( not yours) We would require a deposit on all orders. (we just got in a large order of ARF"s )

pricing would be as follows for the PAK's and would be built to the same level as our last run.

2.5 meter planes $599.00
2.7 meter planes $749.00 ( extra 300 midwing or Panzl)
3.2 meter plane $1199.00 extra 300 midwing

If interested contact us at sales@jtecrc.com or 704-799-1658

I have a question. For everyone.. (not singling anyone out.)

Does seeing a pilot doing 3D on video really sway your decision on a plane?
I mean considering that I know 40 pilots that could make a PT-40 Trainer Do any 3D trick in the book,
how does seeing a video of a plane flying change peoples mind about something.
Realistically the "average joe" pilot won't post a video of themselves flying, so what your getting is
shots of pro's flying the crap out of a plane. Which translates to no info about the airframe at all.
As I said I have seen pro's fly lead sleds that should hardly fly doing HA 3D.

NOW.. if the goal is just to see a cool video with a sick pilot.. than that is cool,
but I see that almost every single new airplane that is introduced on the site always has the "I'll make my decision after I see a flight video"

To me, I'd rather see the plane in person, NOT flying so I can inspect the quality of the build, and the quality of the engineering.

Am I off base on this stance?

PS: This has nothing to do with the Jtec plane, they ARE quality and fly great.
I have a brand new one I'm currently finishing.

How about an ARC version for those that want custom schemes? (Although I imagine the cost would probably be similar to that of an ARF).
The part I don't believe is that you have a friend. :22a:

I have to agree with Sleepy on this one. I am not a 3D pilot but I have seen good pilots 3D every plane they get their hands on and by watching see very little difference in any of them.

With that said I will add this, I have owned the H9 260 and now have a Jtec 2.7 300 and it is my opinion that the 300 is the better of the 2 when it comes to IMAC. I am not saying that the 260 sucks but the 300 seems to lock on a line better than the 260. It just seems more stable.

I think the build quality of the Jtec is a little more robust as well. It is a solid airplane! I am so impressed with it that I am planning on buying another one as soon as I have the cash. The service that Al and Kevin provide is second to none and they have gone above and beyond anytime I have a question about the set up of the plane.

Jtecs to me are like an actual kit built airplane that just happens to be an arf.
I bought a new 330 regular wing that I wanted to cover myself. So I ripped the old covering off.
This also gave me a chance to inspect the airplane really well. I was worried that getting this up close and personal with a naked ARF would possibly scare me... ended up it was the other way.
The plane is SOLID. The glue joints are all solid, the stringers are solid. the joints are tight, the wood sheeting on the wings is nice. The plane REALLY looks like a kit built plane.

So.. yea. I dig Al and Kevins planes. And will probably keep at least one in my hangar at all times.

What a shame Sleepy- you missed getting a great Kodak documentation moment for all of us.

I usually have to wait for the dirt sampling project before I get a through peek.- but then, why would I care? Though I have in the past, I rarely play the dittos game with the next "kit".

A 19 lb pound with a DA-85 on front would be really cool to watch. Go check how it's built but, flying is what it's built for!!

J-Tec flat out rocks!I have been flying my 42%330 for 6 years. I run smoke and never bother to wipe it off .Just drip dry. It still has all the original covering too. I plan to fly it hard for another 6 years .
