Great video.. but my point exactly... it's not the plane that is flying, it's you.
And I'm sure you could do the same with many other planes. That video shows me a few things. 1) Your a tallented pilot 2) It's a good looking plane In general that plane sells you (as a pilot) , not the plane. People need to fly planes. Check the quality.

I just ate raw pork ...do ya think I will get worms???
Any way.. I think watching vids tells you allot about a plane. Only if the pilot is very worthy...like Kyle W. for example. I have seen bad traits in many of the planes he has flown and I know it was not him causing the bad goof ups. Yes I see goofy stuff a particular plane is doing in many of Kyle's vids. And I can point it out to ya too.All in all they all seem to fly very good but all have subtle differences that CAN be seen with a competent pilot on the sticks. I have always liked the way Comp ARF planes look in pictures and in the pits but have never bought one because they look like they tuck bad at the end of a HA KE even when flown by Jason Shulman and many other pros. I don't like a plane that tucks or I would have one. Also looks like they bop in rolling harriers. Last edited by buttface; 01-12-2009 at 01:56 AM. |

This was in January 08 and no video. What business or even the military would not purchase a plane now days without a video and a test flight. Hard to test flight all the planes but, a video is not too much to ask for if your customers are asking. Who is flying the 2.5 now. Flight reports and no paid flight reports .

Buttface,
Nice video and I want one Noticed it had one servo per wing. What size plane, it looks larger than it really is.

That's the older version of the 40% Extra 330L (126" ws) , he has at least two servos in each wing. Not sure what size but a nice job with the video

Hey Al, do you remember "Smack" the guy this plane originally belonged to?He had a script in you testimonials . It was one of the first ones ever sold.He put 500+ flights on it and now I have 1000+ of my own on it. Never repaired it and it still has the same factory covering. I am finally at the point now where I can drag the top of the rudder too like him! I don't see why I cant get another 1000 flights out of it. Damn thing is solid and one HELL of a 3D trainer. I have (5) 40%ers now including a 3W Yak ,2 Cardens,TT Yak,Dalton, and the J-Tec is still my favorite to fly. It just groves in 3D! Last edited by buttface; 01-13-2009 at 11:52 PM. |

I have heard the QQ 102'' Yak is the top pick for 35% 3D plane. However I have spoke to a few that owned it and the J-Tec2.7m 300 that say it is better than the QQ. Why do I believe this? When it comes down to a good flying plane I don't care how much it costs....it just so happens that J-Tec has always been very reasonably priced!
Any one who underestimates J-Tec planes is missing the boat! Last edited by buttface; 01-14-2009 at 12:00 AM. |
