Web site says 2.7 had foam sheet wings, does that mean one servo per wing? What is the weight with the DA-85?

We are very excited about the new ARF's, all of them are lighter then before and have the extremely high quality that we have become known for. For more info you can visit our website www.jtecrc.com

thanks,

Sleepy,

Though a good 3D pilot can make any airplane sing, I think there's a lot of value in videos. First of all, people can actually see the airplane flying . And I think the discerning eyes can tell the difference between a great flying airframe, and a mediocre one.

What I look for in a video to judge an airframe, is speed, upright, inverted harrier (upright more important), KE, HA KE, walls, elevators, and tumbling. Of all these, tumbling is the least pilot dependent and the most airframe dependent (fly a 3DHS plane, and you'll know what I mean ).

IMHO, hovers, torque rolls, and rolling harrier are the most worthless from an airframe discussion point of view. That is the most pilot dependent aspect of flying (for 3D at least).

Another good aspect (if caught on camera) is how the pilot recovers. If you see the wings wiggle back and forth for a little bit before stabilizing, then something tells me that the airframe is not the most forgiving (or the pilot really suck ). But assuming that the pilot is great at other maneuvers otherwise, then someone will have to convince me that the frame has enough dampening / stability when yanked around.

What also helps is the volume of the video, and the number of pilots flying in the videos (if it ever become that popular or numerous).

Just my 2c .

FWIW, from what I've seen on that YouTube video, it looks like a great flying airframe.

Buttface,

You have Mark's old 330. Damn he flew the wings off of it when he had it.

I don't know if anyone has a video's on the 2.7, lots of still's of Anderw J flying it on electric. I don't have a video camera and my brownie instamatic shutter speed is a little slow for vid's

We do have a sponsorship program. Its listed on our website under PRICE!!! LOL you can sign up there and we'll send one right out!! LOL

Seriously thanks for all the input on the planes.

Al
