Also, when you saw Max's version of the Radiowave 330... you couldnt even compare his version to the original version of the 330. I think Max did everything he could to add weight to that airplane. I had a 330 myself a couple years ago and I think mine was 6 pounds lighter than Max's... I have no idea what he did to that thing. When Sleepy re-vamped it, he took out a bunch of crap Max had in there and got it down to fighting weight where it should be.

The new one I'm working on should come in around 38 - 39 lbs , but keep in mind... THE PLANE IS HUGE.
Like 42% Carden huge. I really liked the way Tuna flew... it floated really nicely. I actually am super excited to get the new one finished! Jtec planes are REALLY nice planes. Plain and simple.

ALso T&T landing gear is now making milled aluminum gear that should weigh around the same as carbon, but have the strenght of Aluminum.
The stock landing gear is a bit heavy. But even the old version (which I have) with a few circle bits and time can me lightened extensively. The old TB flew great i can't wait to try this new one!!

Personally I am glad the Tuna boat went away!!!! it flew well but it was on the fatboy program. I built it originally for MAx and he had me put in every contraption know to man and R/C in it. I keep telling him it would weigh a ton!! RIGHT MAX!!!.
At least it lives on as the plane for the FG logo and for the tee shirts. LOL Sleepy I suspect you will rename yours "the Barracuda"!!!! LOL

there are a couple of the 2.5m out there. We have been flying are a lot lately and it is unbelievable the power it has with a DA-85. We still plan on putting one together with a DA-50 because we think it will fly nicely. Just need to get the time to do it.
