TRAILER STOLEN: BATON ROUGE, LA

Hey guys. I got my trailer stolen last night. ALL my rc equipment was inside ready to go sunday morning. My planes, fueling equipment, charging equipment, tools even my chairs and extension coards.

If anyone in the Baton Rouge area sees anything, would you please contact me at msimon19@cox.net or 225-978-0893.

My trailer is a "TOP HAT, Titan" 6x10 enclosed WHITE single axle trailer. The rims are white, single rear door and side door on the right side. There have been decals removed that say "Team / RC" the decal residue is still noticable. There is an AMA decal on the front of the trailer.

Inside my trailer was:

30% Aviation Models Yak 54 (orange / blue / white version, lots of decals and my name on the canopy)
3W55cs
Hitec servos : 5985's and 5955's

OMP Yak 54 with OS 55ax. Also with hitec servos 625mg's

JR 9303 radio, channel 58 inside JR transmitter Box.

Spad combat plane.

ALos, my buddys YS 63 was inside my tool box which had assorted rc related tools and spare parts.

I itemized the contents when the police report was filed and it exceeded 7000.00. Seeing that really hurt.

PLEASE PLEASE keep your eyes open for anything if you live in the Louisiana area.

man iam sorry to hear about things like this. thiefs suck, they are the lowest people on earth and shouldnt be put up with. will your homeowners pay?? i would check iam shure its covered. also i know its of little help but, also put a claim in with ama.
you may want to check with your auto insurance as well. they cant sell it in your area, it would have to be moved somewhere else. first thing check pawn shops. sorry for your loss

Sorry to hear about the theft. You should keep an eye out for your stuff showing up on eBay and Craigslist.

the thing that bugs me.. is who ever did this knew what they where getting... so makes ya wonder,, ya just never can tell about some folks..

Any thoughts on whether or not this may have been someone in the hobby who new what they were getting, or just a random crook hoping to find an ATV or Harley in the trailer?

I think the 's that did it just hooked up to the trailer and took off. I have called the local hobby store, they are gonna keep their eyes open, and ive called pawn shops. I dont know if it will do any good. The idiotswho got my stuff wouldnt have a clue on how to operate one thing in that trailer.

I tried calling AMA, but they will be closed until monday. Ill try them then. I hope the home owners covers at least some of it.

Hope you have some jpegs to post as that will be the best way to empower the public to keep an eye out for your precious - E BAY included. Post em!

One of my Dad's sayings was that if a person will lie he will also steal and he HATES theives. As a kid the only thing that would bring down the hammer of justice on my ass was to try and lie my way out of something. Made a lasting impression !!
