I Am a Pilot fan , but unfortunately they don't do a YAK 55M...Do you stay with one manufacturer. From reading the threads i was really hoping to see something outstanding. Anyway...so be it.

What exactly were the quality issues? I have one of Bills 100cc yaks, and have beat the crap out of it for over a year. Unless pocket hinging is considered low quality, I'd have to say this is the best plane in my hangar, and there is a Pilot yak in there too.

Ive a good buddie from SA and his default setting on all topics is to play the clever know it all n point out the smallest of faults as if they were the end of the world. Its probs a SA cultural thing to poke a big stick at a soft target

Flight Stick that's some of the worst quality I have ever seen. I think you are completely justified in raising the question and I am in agreement 100% with you and your dealer. Having said that. Knowing how Bill works and his dedication for customer care .........I'm sure he'll have this matter resolved for you in no time.

Hang in there bud BH will be on the case.

Pete,

I wasnt the only customer that turned down these planes. I know of more than two others that bought them and now sit with major structural and cosmetic issues. Also the poor hobby shop is sitting with a bunch of junk. Catch 22 if he sells them as BH planes then bang goes his name and BH, hope he sees the light and contacts these guys. I feel for them. For me the loss was the waste of time.

We have and I don't think anything has been resolved. The Hobby shop was dead against me going ahead and posting on FG, they were trying to resolve this issue. Unfortunately I have been waiting a long while with no result.

Just knowing Bill and his quality, That has to be a knockoff. Nitro planes wouldnt even let that quality out.

No, this IS my stuff. Not sure how or why but my factory DID send a shipment of planes to SA that had some issues. I am in comunications with the SA and trying to figure out how to resolve the issue.

Thank you Flight Stick for making this a public matter. I am sorry you received a sub standard kit.

Bill thanks for the reply. I hope you do resolve this soon. You would certainly be missing out on a big market. I know for a fact that most of those units sent to Cape Town were supposed to go out to clients. I know of only three which have been build and all these guys are having issues.

Look forward to hearing from you soon...
