This may have nothing to do with your Heli and set up but it is worth mentioning just in case. I had a older model Trex clone (CDE) that used standard 9 gram servos and a generic ESC. The ESC was so generous with amps to the motor the servos got left out and didn't have enough power to move the controls well. I put on a BEC and seperate battery for the radio and got a huge difference. If your servos and power system aren't up to the task it will cause problems.

There are couple things to do. One would be to move the fly bar weights in or remove them all together. Another option would be to up the head speed. If both of these have been done I run some expo in the wrong direction (more sensitive). Hope that helps.

What is your headspeed??
On a Trex, if the head speed is too slow, it will fly like a pig

How much pitch are you running? Collective and cyclic...
Edit: Now that i looked at the picture, ditch the wheel collar weights on the flybar.

You can make this thing fly like a hummingbird on Crack. It just takes a bit of tweaking. Metal head, tight linkages, no slop, and high head speed. Make sure you dont OVERDRIVE the swash so it contacts the mast. This will rob head speed, and can end up popping links causing a crash.

Get a pitch gauge.... they are cheap and pretty much required for something like the TREX (or borrow one from a friend)

The pitch gauge is quite simple to use. You just put it on the blade, set it to the "degrees" you want, or check existing pitch, simply by "eyeballing" the top of the pitch gauge with your flybar.
When the top of the pitch gauge is level with the flybar, you see the pitch degree on the pitch gauge. Simple as that. It's mostly used to set zero pitch at 50% stick(for your basic setup. It also comes in handy to set your negative pitch for your "normal" pitch curve. If you are new to helis, you normally want your "normal" low pitch in the -1--2 degree range. Hope that helps

I know some would say 2000 is bit slow for 3D. I run a lot faster, close to 2800, give or take , depending on battery.
