The maiden happened the weekend of the 18th on a cold days in 20mph winds. Last weekend is when I really got trim it out and get it flying right. Two beautiful days perfect for the Jetero anniversary fly-in.
All I can say is WOW. I've flown an electric pattern plane with this same setup so I knew what was coming but the electric power plant is incredible. More power than my 160DZ and completely linear throttle and torque curves means the plane does exactly what you tell it to do. There's no worrying about trying to keep up intertia or managing your momentum, whenever you want power the hacker DELIVERS. Still getting the plane setup but I borrowed Todd Blose's setup and it seems to be working really well. It snaps better than any other pattern plane I've flown and is really a solid airframe. All in all, the electirc power plant seems to be living up to its expectations. Huge difference over glow for me and I'm loving it.

Great news Brett,
It will be a few years before I go to electric in my pattern plane, I'll get through at least 1 year with my El Nino first.
