I've got about two gallons through my 85 powerd edge now. It is such a fun airplane to fly. It is amazing how much authority the controls have and it's not the least bit pitch sensitive. I love the way you can steer it around in an elevator up right or inverted and just start or stop a spin effortlessly. The wing rock is none existent at any angle. Even turning down wind the wing my wagle a tiny bit two or three times and just locks right back in. I've been letting one of my buddies fly mine. He is seriously considering one also.

Haha Mike,

Thanks, I'll try and refrain from making more for a while. Has the sun even returned yet up there? I'll be waiting anxiously for pictures and or video from the true Great White North.

Eric,

We are very happy that you guys are so pleased with the performance. The 85 does this plane well and I am very happy with mine as well. Flying the Edges with both the DA85 and DA100 have been a blast.

What kind of RPM's are you getting out of the 85 with the 26x10 and the can?

I hardly ever use a tach so I don't know. For me it's about tuning, selecting the right prop/combo I'm flying and little to do with rpm. I can tell you it's ripping the 26x10, but not by much and this is my break-in prop. There are several threads here that are discussing numbers with the DA-85. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. You may want to look into the Ultimate thread in this forum, their discussing DA-85 numbers.

You got it Ken As for the sun, we are not that far north, but shortest day of the year is only 5 hours long But we make up for it in the summers when we get over 12 hours a daylight End of march and i should be able to maiden mine.

Ken---I didn't win the 36% Edge in the Raffle! You promised me I'd win!

But it appears it will make some appearances here in Vegas (hopefully before I leave).

Hey Ken,

I wasnt able to find those, but after digging threw my bag of "left overs" I found i had a bunch of stand-offs from psp! So i'll give them a try. Thank for the offer!!!
As for the Sun light, we still get to see it, but only for about 5 hours a day at the shortest time But, we get daylight for almost 12 hours a day in the summer which makes up for it

I think Ken figured you to win as you were in charge of the darn raffle, no?

Sounds like you guys had a great event! If it was anything like the Vegas Huckfest, I am sure all were treated to some first-class fun! You guys sure know how to host an event!!!

Regards,

Astrohog
