I dont do imac sorry, paying $30 to fly 4 times really doesnt sound like alot of fun to me (after spending a couple hundred for fuel and food and whatnot these days too), Im all about the fun, like big bird events, we have hit two eastern WA events in the last 3 weeks and had a blast! Our big bird is always fun!

Ken,
I have the PDF file from Herve with the DA info for the cannister set up. Could you please tell me what KS header you used, and did you stay with the KS95 cans for the DA100? My 3W106 has a slightly lower drop (.2"), and a 6" run. The 3W L70 cans I'm planning on using are 14.75" long. From the PDF file, it looks like it should work. Can you shed some light on this? Could you talk JohnVh into driving my plane down to me? I'm looking forward to flying this plane. Thanks for the help. |

This thread may be a little confusing as I built two at the same time. One with a DA100 and the other with an DA85. Anyway, the KS stuff was on the 85 and since tossed for a pitts to get a better running motor. On the DA-100, it was all MTW75's. Any, that extra .2" drop should be fine. That drawing you have from Herve is good to go. I have your number now, I'd like to give you a call before I send it out. John, you headed south this weekend? Ken |

Team Caribou Lou baby!!! Dan, get that Edge up to the Big Bird, it's going to be a blast! I'm off from work every day until the event so if you want some setup help, I probably have nothing better going on. And yes, try some Caribou Lous and you'll definitely need some floor space for yourself!
