I thought I would show a couple of pics of my finished cockpit/canopy........I made the top totally removable, in case I have wrinkles in the covering that need attending or to remove or change the pilot........the gap on the front/top of the wind screen where it fits to the canopy top ( I think a few kits have this?) took me awhile to decide on how I would fix it.....Tape or gluing was an option, but because I wanted this removable I went with some open cockpit wind screen copeing that I had left over from another project.....I put it on reversed and added 3 extra screws on the top of the canopy.....I am very satisfied with the fit and looks------here are the pics (it looks better live, its hard to get a pic in my shop that does it justice)
Heading to the field today--camera in hand---there is a rumor Harv is going to maiden his Edge today!!

Glad things went well on the maiden Harv. I really like the colors of this plane. Any feedback that you are willing to share on your maiden?

Hey guys, thanks. The plane flew extrmely well. Althought i have some work to do on it. I have to move the batteries back even farther than where they are. Its too nose heavy. Coupling is minimal. Expeciallyy in high alpha.other than that it flys very light, and the smoke presents very well in the air. Now imagine it on a blue sky

i got the sullivan skywriter. (the red one) It seems to be working pretty good. Except my throttle curve needs to be adjusted as when hovering there is not a smooth arc to work the throttle on.
