Sounds good so far. I do have a question about cans! Do they improve performance? Or are they just for noise control?

Thanks.
Don.

Don,

Sometimes both! Canisters when properly setup can give you a little extra power as well as being more quite. If going with the ZDZ and canisters I would call RCShowcase and see what they recommend.

The wing tube is 43" long.
The diameter is between 27mm and 28mm (i don't have an instrument to measure the diameter in 1/10 fractions of mm).

Sweetpea,

I just noticed the typo: diameter is between 37mm and 38mm (Not 27~28mm)

I just ordered my edge and I'm starting to get some supplys. It looks like a bellcrank would be an easy install. What size do I need would a 4" straight work or do you need the offset? I was thinking if the servos were installed output shafts to the front there would be room to mount the bellcrank behind them.

Hi Mike,

You will want to use the offset arm with the hardware setup provided with your Edge. The geometry is perfect with the offset arm.

Don.
Canisters are quieter than in cowls and offer more power but not as much power as tuned pipes. They are a happy medium between in-cowl and tuned.
