Ryan was complaining he needed a dry landing strip for the Heli, so I brought one.

If anyone is thinking of installing MTW TD 75 cans you will have some problems......There are three different 75's----front & rear exhaust and a "K" short can,,,,the front & rear cans are too long for the tunnel and the "K" can has a diameter of 70mm that will make a very tight fit and would limit the air flow through the canister tunnel, plus mounting them would be tricky-------because I already had the rear exhaust cans I decided (reluctantly) to modify the canister tunnel rather than trying any other cans,,,,,,,,here is a picture summary of my mods-----I'm happy with the results but this is not an easy modification that took a good 10-15 hours and a lot of head scratching,,,,,

Good luck on the maiden. Looking forward to hearing how you like the DL100 in this plane. I plan on putting the same in mine, but have cans for it.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I will post a few more pics the further I get........I still have to drill a couple of props, cut the Nolimits spinner, some programing and then check the balance,,,,,,the ignition battery is still unmounted-----when I see how it balances without it, then I will locate it for the proper balance--------Harv, I'm going to try for Saturday afternoon or Sunday......this will depend on weather and how much time it takes to mount this battery---as you see I am very fussy about how things look when there done*****just remember I will be embarrassed if I have to follow you in a freestyle this year

All I have left to do now is a small amount of EQ6 programing, charging batteries and mixing some gas
![]() The plane balanced a hair tail heavy, so the ignition battery will start its home on the inner firewall,,,,,,,,,Saturday is indoor flying for me-----Sunday if weather is right, I hope to send her aloft!!I'll take some pics at the field----my basement is just a little small for the Edge.
